Praetorians!

These are all Gripping Beast miniatures and they are based for WAB. I should say that I don't know for sure the provenance of the standard. A Tribune has picked up a shield and pushed his way to the front rank, no doubt emulating the glorius Julius Caesar. I quite like the way red and blue work together. I am embarking on a red and blue phase without any doubt. It could last for years. If I'm lucky.

Thnaks Jason. These are going to look okay on the gaming table. I think I'm really starting to get the bug too, which is great.

Yummy, Keir. Tres yummy. Are you using Derivan for the blue?

Yes, I have a number of Derivan blues. They are mostly very nice paints. Good pigmentation. I'm a bit concerned about the Prussian Blue, but I have been only using it on a white basecoat so far. What I need to do is use a basecoat of one of the GW Foundation blues and then try it on that.

I'll have a second unit of 24 Praetorians up by the end of the week.
